Vitreous Babel Hotel

    Thousand and one Stars Hotel

    Project for an hotel

    2011

    Luanda, Angola

The bay of an African capital features several traffic lines, light evocations, and an oily odor. The beach and water in front of the island shield the shacks and night fall sounds when residents begin cooking outside at sundown.

Rich businessmen's helicopters, oil rig engineers, country presidents, and banks' presidents. The geometry of growth and shadow is influenced by all of these factors. You can see your dreams within, and climb and relax outside. On the roof of Babel, there's a flickering enormous light sign stating Thousand and One Star hotel to highlight the building at night.
